The engineered Flow Switches for aerospace from UE Precision Sensors are design to be pressure and altitude inmune while offering 5.03-6 reliability. They also provide set point stability over wide range of viscosity (due to temperature variations) and they are hermetically and environmentally sealed. 

These switches have been built according to the following technical specifications: 

  • Magnetic and nonmagnetic sensing

  • Flow monitoring from 0.2 to 80 lierts/minute

  • 100% passive: Software free

  • Tamper proof setting

  • Proven designs with RTCA-DO160

  • Bi-directional option

UE Precision Sensors currently offers the following switches:

  • V9F Series: Monitoring liquid flow up to 9’0 liters/minute. There are magnetically operated switches with reed relay. They reduce plumbing with orthogonal fluid passages. 

  • V10F Series: Monitoring liquid flow up to13’5 liters/minute. These magnetically operated switches with reed relay can handle harsh environments and have in-line flow passages. They are compatible with dirty media and offer an option for an integrated check valve. 

  • V21F Series: Monitoring liquid flow up to 2’7 liters/minute. They are vane operated flow switches that use low accelerators and non rotating sliding parts. Their transfer mechanism is pressure inmune. They are compatible with contaminated liquids and can also be mounted next to a solenoid valve. 

  • V22F Series: Monitoring liquid flow up to 13’5 liters/minute. They are vane operated switches that use edge metering discs, insensitive to magnetic field environments. They offer a wide range of settings and good viscosity stability in liquid flow applications. 

  • V121F Series: Monitoring liquid flow up to 90 liters/minute. They are large vane operated switches that work following a nonmagnetic operation. They are designed with flow accelerators and they are compatible with contaminated liquids at high flow. They offer large fitting in order to reduce drop rate.
