Radios for manned and unmanned platforms

The UHF/VHF radio (UVR) is an advanced analog/digital data link system that has been specifically designed for manned and unmanned platforms to handle audio and data transmission.

The open architecture of the UVR allows audio and Ethernet signals to be transmitted. The UVR is an affordable, modular, lightweight, reliable and relatively small system. It combines commercially proven technologies and standards with advanced algorithms to provide excellent reliability and high performance.

UVR Systems

The UVR family of systems is a range of radio communications equipment and systems designed for military environments, but not limited to military applications.

The UVR family of systems has been developed to provide a wide range of functional options to meet a wide variety of operational requirements.

The solution consists of a multi-band, multi-mode transceiver that provides aircraft with clear and secure voice/data communication facilities over an extended frequency range.
