Gladiator Technologies’ high-end GA50 series open-loop MEMS accelerometers are available in various sensing ranges. The accelerometer is based on a bulk micromachined silicon MEMS device and an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) with an analogue front-end (AFE) and temperature sensor, assembled in a compact, hermetically sealed, custom-built LCC20 package.
The rugged, low-power GA50 accelerometer offers superior long-term repeatability and polarisation stability. It is ideal for aerospace and defence applications, such as inertial measurement units (IMU) and other demanding guidance, navigation, autonomy and seismic applications.
Overview
- Multiple G-ranges. GA50 accelerometers are available in 5g, 40g and 70g ranges, allowing you to have the solution that best suits your needs.
- Extremely small size. GA50 accelerometers have a compact LCC20 package (253 mm³ or 0.25 cm³), the GA50 is the smallest Gladiator Technologies MEM device to date.
- Available on evaluation board. GA50 accelerometers can be customised for a wide range of applications and can be delivered individually or mounted on an evaluation board to simplify testing.
